action

Chinese student Chen Zhen was sent to the Inner Mongolia wilderness in 1967. Here he is supposed to teach Schäfer to read and write. But he quickly realizes that his real passion is an animal feared by the nomads, but also revered: the wolf. Chen Zhen rejects all warnings and hints and secretly observes the wild raids of wolf packs. The majesty of the beautiful and at the same time very dangerous animals touches him deeply. Nevertheless, they are officially considered a danger to humans and animals and so the order soon comes from Beijing to exterminate all wolves and their young. Chen Zhen then rescues a young wolf and raises him. Although a deep friendship develops between the man and the little wolf, the wolf pack tries to get back what has been taken from him. Your new destination is now the human settlements. Soon it is no longer just about the relationship between humans and nature, but also about the life of the last wolf.
