The beautiful day is a German film by Thomas Arslan from 2001. It is the conclusion of the filmmaker's “Berlin Trilogy”, which aims to capture the lives of young people of Turkish origin of the second and third generation in the capital. The film was produced like its predecessor siblings - Kardeşler (1997) and Dealer (1999) for the ZDF series Das kleine Fernsehspiel .

The film shows a day in the life of the 21-year-old Deniz, who works as a voice actress in Berlin. The ambitious young woman expects a lot from life, but stands in her own way with her high standards. Shortly after the dubbing of the feature film Conte d'été by Eric Rohmer, she leaves her boyfriend Jan.She takes part in a casting for a feature film and talks for an evening with Diego, whom she met during the day on the subway, breaks up but from him the following morning.
