Derek Graham
Derek Graham ( Derek Austin Graham; born September 3, 1941 ) is a retired British middle and long distance runner .
At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he was eliminated over 5000 m in the preliminary run.
The following year he won silver at the Cross of Nations for the all-Irish team.
In 1966 he won silver at the Cross of Nations for the all-Irish team. Starting for Northern Ireland , he finished fifth in the mile run and eighth over three miles at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston . At the European Athletics Championships in Budapest , he came fourth over 5000 m .
On May 2, 1970 in Belfast he set a world record in the half marathon with 1:03:53 h . At the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh he was twelfth over 5000 m and 10,000 m .
