Derek John de Solla Price Award
The Derek John de Solla Price Award is an award that commemorates the founder of scientometry, Derek de Solla Price .
It has been awarded by Scientometrics magazine since 1984 to information scientists who have made outstanding contributions in the field of quantitative science research . Initially, the award was presented annually, since 1993 every two years at the International Conference of the International Society for Scientometrics and Informetrics .
