Deremesna ( Ukrainian and Russian Деремезна ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 400 inhabitants (2001).
The village, mentioned for the first time in 1038, is the only place of the district council of the same name in Obuchiw Rajon . It is 17 km southwest of Rajonzentrum Obukhiv and 60 km south of Kiev . Part of the snake wall is located in the village .
Personalities
- In 1873 the Ukrainian agronomist, politician and diplomat Kostjantyn Mazijewytsch (1873–1942) was born in the village .
