Dermot Joseph Crowley (born March 19, 1947 in Cork , Ireland ) is an Irish actor .
Life
Dermot Joseph Crowley is an Irish actor who has been active since the late 1970s and has appeared in over 80 film and television productions. In 1983 he was seen both as General Crix Madine in Return of the Jedi and as Kamp in James Bond 007 - Octopussy . Shortly thereafter, an almost seventh Doctor Who would have been cast, although he could not prevail against the Scottish actor Sylvester McCoy in the end .
Since July 3, 1982, Crowley is married to the casting director Suzanne Smith.
