The Desbrocksriedegraben in Hanover , also called Desbrocksriede for short , is a small watercourse and tributary to the Leine on the right-hand side . The water of the vineyard initially collects between Godshorn and Vinnhorst , and runs through the Desbrocksriedegraben area between the Langenhagen districts Schulenburg- Süd and Engelbostel as a protected landscape component of the city of Langenhagen .

In Hanover, the Desbrocksriedegraben in the north of the Lower Saxony state capital flows through the city forest of Mecklenheide and the children's forest initiated by Manfred Kindel ( Unmada ) on the Green Ring north of the Mittelland Canal before the water finally flows into the Leine at Stöcken .
