Deserted Fear is a German death metal - band , which in 2007 Eisenberg was founded.
history
The band was founded in 2007 in Eisenberg, Thuringia. The first demo was released in 2010, and at the end of 2011, the recording of the debut album My Empire , for which Dan Swanö was the producer, began. On September 28, 2012 the album was released on FDA Rekotz / Soulfood . The second album Kingdom of Worms was released on October 24, 2014 . The third album Dead Shores Rising was released via Century Media on January 27, 2017 . A year later, on April 14, 2018, their EP A Morbid Vision / The Path of Sorrow was released . On January 10, 2019, the band became the official shirt sponsor of the U-14 team of the Science City Jena basketball club . On February 8, 2019, the fourth studio album Drowned by Humanity was released .
style
The group plays classic death metal. a. Bands like Dismember and Asphyx represent distinctive influences. The use of hooklines is characteristic , which gives the songs a high level of catchiness by Death Metal standards. In addition to elements of classic (especially Swedish) Death Metal, the compositions include: Some elements of Thrash Metal too . Frank Albrecht of RockHard magazine described the band's debut album as an album that "is a real bombshell that should bring everyone to their knees who are into acts like Hail Of Bullets, God Dethroned, early Death or Benediction". Alexander Renner awarded 13 out of 15 possible points for Legacy magazine in his review .
