Detlev Heinrich von Einsiedel (born October 9, 1698 , † March 5, 1746 in Dresden ) was a royal Polish and electoral Saxon chamberlain and lord of the Seidenberg class.

Life

Detlev Heinrich was the third and youngest son of the Privy Councilor and Chief Chamberlain Hans Haubold von Einsiedel (1654–1700) from the Saxon noble family Einsiedel . When his father died, Detlev Heinrich von Einsiedel was only two years old. His mother died at the end of 1725. Upon her death, Detlev Heinrich von Einsiedel, together with his two older brothers, First House Marshal Johann George von Einsiedel and Cay Rudolph Haubold von Einsiedel, jointly inherited the mining and smelting works in the Sangerhausen district , which was then for Belonged to the Duchy of Saxony-Weißenfels . This gave them significant sources of income from mining.

Like many of his family members, Einsiedel embarked on a career at the Saxon court in Dresden, where he was appointed titular chamberlain at an early stage.

He died without leaving any children on Pfarrgasse in Dresden in the house of Senator Schwartzbach at the age of 47 years and 5 months and was transferred to Reibersdorf near Zittau for burial on March 8, 1746 .

In 1746, after the death of Detlev Heinrich von Einsiedel, Johann George von Einsiedel, his eldest brother, inherited all possessions of the Scharfenstein line, including the Seidenberg estate .
