The Dettendorfer Kalte is a year-round flowing water in the Bavarian Alpine foothills .
It arises a little away from the Leitzach on the Jedlinger Leitzachleite , but does not drain directly into this, but instead into the Kaltenbach after about 10 km. First, the water enters ditches and flows about 200 meters lower in the area of the Rosenheim trunk basin moors from the left into the Kaltenbach.
