The Deutsche Krimi-Straße is a 2.5 km long road along the Rönne in northern Lower Saxony , on the edge of the joint municipality of Hemmoor , district of Cuxhaven . Over a hundred detective novels , thrillers, and screenplays for TV crime novels have been written near this street . The authors included Elke Loewe , Volker Vogeler , Jürgen Petschull , Sebastian Knauer , Willi Voss , Reinhold Friedl , Thomas B. Morgenstern and Wilfried Eggers .
