German championship in field hockey 1937 (men)
In the 1936/37 season , a German championship in men's field hockey was held for the first time. The organizer was the German Reich Association for Physical Exercise , after the German Hockey Association was dissolved on October 22, 1933. The first German field hockey champion was the Berliner SC, who defeated the ETuF Essen in the finals.

Ten teams had qualified for the finals through the regional championships. Therefore, two meetings took place as part of a preliminary round. The six remaining participants were seeded directly for the quarter-finals. Unless otherwise stated, the games took place on the grounds of the first-mentioned club.
