German championship in field hockey 1939 (men)

In the 1938/39 season , a German championship in men's field hockey was held for the third time. The organizer was the National Socialist Reich Association for Physical Exercise after the German Hockey Association was dissolved on October 22, 1933. TV Sachsenhausen became German field hockey champions in 1857 through a final in Berlin against Berlin HC.

mode

17 teams had qualified for the finals through the regional championships. The clubs were divided into four preliminary round groups, one with five teams, the others with four teams. Unless otherwise stated, the games took place on the grounds of the first-mentioned club.
