Field hockey Bundesliga 2006/07 (men)

The 2006/07 season - the 37th men's field hockey Bundesliga season - started on September 30, 2006 and ended with the finals in the hockey park on 7/8. July 2007. According to a survey by the Deutsche Hockey Zeitung, defending champion Crefelder HTC entered the race among the twelve top division teams with ten entries. The champions of the 2nd Bundesliga North Uhlenhorst Mülheim and the 2nd Bundesliga South TG Frankenthal are newcomers . Until the winter break, the HTC Stuttgarter Kickers sat at the top of the table with seven wins and one draw , but then fell to tenth place. The HTC from Crefeld was able to qualify for the finals at an early stage, and on the penultimate matchday the club on the Alster also secured the ticket to the finals. In a direct encounter with competitor Gladbacher HTC , SW Neuss secured qualification for the semi-finals with a 2: 1 on the last match day, as did Uhlenhorster HC with a draw against Alster.
