Ascent and descent

TSV Mannheim and Münchner SC are relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga 18/19 , both are relegated to the South group.

The Hamburg Polo Club from the north group and TC Blau-Weiss Berlin from the south group are promoted from the 2nd Bundesliga 17/18 .
