Field hockey Bundesliga 2003/04 (men)

The 2003/2004 season was a transitional season over one and a half years, as the field season was changed from April to September to the multi-year period from August to October and April to June of the following year. In the time in between, the indoor season is played. In this "long season" two German championships were held. The top four teams in the first half of the season qualified for the 2003 finals. The 2004 German champions were determined through a game between the two best teams. The club on the Alster secured both titles .
