In the 1937/38 season , a German championship in men's field hockey was held for the second time. The organizer was the German Reich Association for Physical Exercise , after the German Hockey Association was dissolved on October 22, 1933. The German field hockey champions were again the Berliner SC, who defended their title with a final victory against TV Sachsenhausen in 1857 in Frankfurt.
