Pranles is a French municipality with 491 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ardèche in the Region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Privas and the Canton Privas (until 2015: Canton Chomérac ). The residents are called pranlines .
geography
Pranles is about 16 kilometers northwest of Aubenas . Pranles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Sauveur-de-Montagut in the north, Les Ollières-sur-Eyrieux in the northeast, Saint-Vincent-de-Durfort in the east, Lyas in the south, Veyras in the southwest, Creysseilles in the west and Saint-Étienne -de-Serre in the north-west.
