Flaviac is a French commune with 1,223 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Ardèche in the Region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Privas and the Canton Privas . The inhabitants are called Flaviacois .
geography
Flaviac is located about 22 kilometers north-northwest of Montélimar on the Ouvèze . Flaviac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Vincent-de-Durfort in the north and north-west, Saint-Julien-en-Saint-Alban in the east and north-east, Chomérac in the south, Coux in the west and Lyas in the north-west.
