Culture and sights

In addition to the Château de Tournay, there are other well-known buildings in Beauvène, especially the Saint-Charles church in neo-Romanesque style from the 19th century. The bridge Pont de Chervil et de solides bâtisses is an example of the rural architecture of the past centuries, which reflects the prosperity of this region at the time. The high-ranking officer Maximilien de Béthune planted several elms on the Place du Valla . There is an old temple in the hamlet of Pranouvet .

Nature lovers visit the community mainly to see the gorges of the Eyrieux River, which occasionally overflows its banks in spring. Therefore a dam was specially built to protect the place from flooding. An educational trail introduces tourists to the history of texturing . Climbing is increasingly popular on the rocks of Tournay .
