Le Pouzin is a French commune with 2,879 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Ardèche in the Region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Privas and the canton Le Pouzin . The inhabitants are called Pouzinois and Pouzinoises .

Le Pouzin is located on the right bank of the Rhone and thus on the border with the Drôme department . The next largest city is Montélimar , 20 kilometers away. The Ouvèze flows into the Rhone in the locality.
