traffic
La Voulte has a train station on the Givors-Canal-Grezan railway . This section of the Lyon – Nîmes connection is no longer used for passenger services. South of the village branches off a cross connection to Livron-sur-Drôme on the Paris – Marseille railway line , which crosses the Rhone on a single track on the La Voulte railway bridge , the first French prestressed concrete bridge , built between 1952 and 1955 . Livron train station, about six kilometers away, is the closest passenger station.
The meter-gauge railway line La Voulte-sur-Rhône-Dunières , which led through the Eyrieux valley to Le Cheylard , began at La Voulte station in 1893 . This narrow-gauge railway was closed on November 1, 1968.
The main traffic axis is the Departementsstraße 86 (former Route nationale 86 ), from which the D 86F, leading on a suspension bridge over the Rhone, branches off in the direction of Livron-sur-Drôme. About nine kilometers away there is a motorway junction for the Autoroute A7 ("Autoroute du Soleil") near Loriol-sur-Drôme .
