The Canton of Privas is a French constituency in the department of Ardèche in the Region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It comprises 15 municipalities in the Arrondissement of Privas and has its bureau centralisateur in Privas . It was changed slightly in spring 2015 as part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton Privas included the 16 municipalities of Ajoux, Alissas, Coux, Creysseilles, Dunière-sur-Eyrieux , Flaviac, Freyssenet, Gourdon, Les Ollières-sur-Eyrieux , Lyas, Pourchères, Pranles, Privas, Saint-Priest, Saint-Vincent-de-Durfort and Veyras. Its layout corresponded to an area of 194.22 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 0713.
