The Canton Chomérac was a 2015 French canton in the Arrondissement Privas , the department Ardèche and the region Rhône-Alpes ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Chomérac . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Alain Martin ( DVD ) was the representative in the General Council of the Département from 1994 to 2015 .

The canton of Chomérac was 10,714 hectares (107.14 km²) and last (2012) had 10,445 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 97 inhabitants per km². It was on average at 198  m , between 76  m in Baix and 824  m in Rochessauve .
