The Canton of Antraigues-sur-Volane was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement of Largentière , in the department of Ardèche and the region Rhône-Alpes ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Antraigues-sur-Volane . By ordinance of the Prefect of February 22, 2007, the canton moved on March 1, 2007 from the Arrondissement Privas to the Arrondissement Largentière. The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons finally resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.
The canton Antraigues-sur-Volane was 15,986 hectares (159.86 km²) and last (2012) had 2,850 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 18 inhabitants per km². It was on average at 743 m , between 278 m in Asperjoc and 1445 m in Lachamp-Raphaël .
