The Canton Rhône-Eyrieux is a French constituency in the department of Ardèche in the Region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It comprises 17 municipalities from the arrondissements of Tournon-sur-Rhône and Privas , and its bureau centralisateur is in La Voulte-sur-Rhône . As part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was significantly expanded in spring 2015. In 2016 the canton name was changed from La Voulte-sur-Rhône to Rhône-Eyrieux.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of La Voulte-sur-Rhône included the ten municipalities of Beauchastel, Charmes-sur-Rhône, Gilhac-et-Bruzac, La Voulte-sur-Rhône, Rompon , and Saint-Cierge-la -Serre, Saint-Fortunat-sur-Eyrieux, Saint-Georges-les-Bains, Saint-Laurent-du-Pape and Saint-Michel-de-Chabrillanoux . Its layout corresponded to an area of 161.70 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 0731.
