German championships in figure skating 2016
The German Figure Skating Championships 2016 took place from December 11th to 13th, 2015 in the Essen-West ice rink in Essen .
The championships were organized by the German Ice Skating Union and, in addition to the individual races for women and men, also included pair skating and ice dancing .

Lutricia Bock from Chemnitz won her first German championship title after bronze in 2015 and despite her second place in the freestyle. 19-year-old Jennifer Parker from Eissport Club Oberstdorf withdrew her participation before the championship began.

The German champion Franz Streubel was able to successfully defend his title. After the short program, as in the previous year, he was still behind Paul Fentz , but was able to prevail in the freestyle.
