Minerva-Fabienne Hase (born June 10, 1999 in Berlin ) is a German figure skater who has been skating in pairs with Nolan Seegert since 2014 .

Career

Minerva-Fabienne Hase and Nolan Seegert, at the 2017 World Cup

Minerva "Minni" Hase started figure skating in 2004 in BSV 92 in Berlin. She started out as a single runner in youth competitions and switched to pair skating in the 2014/2015 season , where she has been paired with Nolan Seegert ever since . The runners only compete in the master class because Seegert is / was already too old for the juniors. Both belong to the Olympic base in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen (Sportclub Berlin); they train with Romy Austria and the Russian Dimitri Savine . They have engaged the Belgian Mark Pillay as choreographer .

Although they took part in the national eliminations for participation in the 2018 Winter Olympics, they had to retire due to a back injury to Hase. The ice skating couple represents Germany at the Figure Skating World Championships 2019 , together with the skaters Annika Hocke and Ruben Blommaert . A performance of the two pairs with an addition result of 28th place would in turn secure two German couples participation in the next World Championships. As a long-term goal, Hase / Seegert have their eye on participation in the next Olympic Winter Games in Beijing in 2022 .

Minerva Hase is still a student and will finish school in 2019.

Successes / results

In 2019 they won the German figure skating championships in Stuttgart in 2018/19 for the first time after they had to admit defeat to Aljona Savchenko and Bruno Massot in the previous year . However, Savchenko / Massot have not participated in any international competitions since the 2018/19 winter season. At the European Figure Skating Championships 2019 in Minsk , Hase / Seegert took sixth place.

In autumn 2019 they won the bronze medal at the Grand Prix Cup of Russia . In 2020 they defended their German championship title in Oberstdorf .
