Eva Prawitz

Eva Prawitz (born September 30, 1920 ) is a German figure skater who became German ice dance champion in 1950 at the side of Horst Faber .

Life

Eva Prawitz was born in 1920 as the daughter of an East Prussian manor owner . She trained figure skating in Mittenwalde , where she also met Horst Faber. She won the German Pair Skating Championship with Otto Weiß . Then she became the partner of Theo Lass in ice dancing . Three years in a row Prawitz / Lass danced the German championship.

In 1945 she moved to Garmisch , where she became a member of the Casa Carioca ice revue . There she met Horst Faber again, whom she married in 1950 and with whom she became ice dance champion in 1950.

Eva Prawitz also worked as an actress. Until 1945 she was part of the ensemble of the Berlin Renaissance Theater . She worked in the film Little Girls - Big Worries (1941).
