Kavita Lorenz (born September 5, 1995 in Berlin ) is a former German ice dancer . With her ice dance partner Joti Polizoakis , she became German ice dance champion in 2016. They started for the EC Oberstdorf. Her trainers were Marina Zueva , Massimo Scali and Martin Skotnický . They trained in Canton, Michigan .
Kavita Lorenz started out as a single runner. In the 2012/2013 season she started ice dancing for the first time with her then ice dancing partner Ievgen Kholoniuk . The couple split after that season. In 2015 she found a new ice dance partner, the former single runner Joti Polizoakis. After only 9 months of training together, the couple immediately won the 2016 German Championship. Lorenz and Polizoakis repeated this success in 2017 and 2018. After the 2018 World Championships, Lorenz ended her career.
