Otto Weiß (born April 20, 1914 ; † unknown) was a German figure skater who started in pair skating .

Career

Otto Weiß was German champion in pair skating in 1932 and 1933 together with Wally Hempel . In the two following years the couple won silver at the German championships and finished sixth at the 1935 World Championships . In 1936 they parted ways and from then on Weiß ran with Eva Prawitz . The couple initially accepted at the European Championships in 1936 and missed a medal with fourth place. A few weeks later, Weiß and Prawitz started at the Olympic Winter Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , where they finished eighth in pair skating. In 1937 the couple became German champions. However, the couple later separated and Weiss now ran with Gisa Graetz , with whom he won bronze at the German championships the following year and took eighth place at the world championships .
