German Film Award / Audience Award: Actor of the Year
The audience award for the actor or actress of the year was introduced at the German Film Awards at the 1999 award ceremony. It existed until 2004. In all years in which the audience award was given in both categories ( actor and film of the year ), the same film won in both categories.
