The Devolkalven is a 2215 m high nunatak in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the mountains of Sør Rondane it rises near the Devoldnuten in the upper section of the Byrdbreen .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1988 after the Norwegian polar explorer Hallvard Ophus Devold (1898–1957), who had explored the Princess Ragnhild Coast by dog sled in 1933 together with Hjalmar Riiser-Larsen and Olav Kornelius Kjelbotn (1898–1966) .
