The Dexter Creek is a mountain in the Southern Alps on New Zealand 's South Island northwest of Arthur's Pass . It rises in two source streams on the eastern flank of the Campbell Range , flows in a northeastern direction and flows after about 4 kilometers into the Taipo River , which in turn flows into the Karamea River .
