Desmond Demond "Dez" Bryant (born November 4, 1988 in Galveston County , Texas ) is an American American football player in the position of wide receiver . He is currently a free agent and was most recently on the New Orleans Saints' squad in the National Football League (NFL). He previously played for the Dallas Cowboys for eight years .

Bryant played college football for the Oklahoma State Cowboys from 2007 to 2009 .
NFL
Bryant was selected as the 24th pick ever by the Dallas Cowboys in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft . In 2013, 2014 and 2016, Bryant was elected to the Pro Bowl .
On April 13, 2018, he was released by the Cowboys after eight seasons and remained a free agent until well into the coming season . Halfway through the 2018 regular season , Bryant signed a contract with the New Orleans Saints , where he tore his Achilles tendon in the first training session.
