Diana Ewert

Diana Ewert (* 1960 in Hagen ) is a German lawyer and administrative officer . From 2015 to 2017 she was the district president in Arnsberg .

Life

Ewert studied law at the Ruhr University in Bochum from 1978 to 1985 , which she completed with the second state examination in law. She joined the administrative service of the Münster district government as a member of the government , where from 1989 to 1995 she was the department head for school construction and training as well as head of the district planning council's office. From 1996 to 1998 she was Chancellor of the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration North Rhine-Westphalia based in Gelsenkirchen . In 1998 she moved to the Arnsberg district government for the first time, where she was chief human resources officer until 2002. From 2002 to 2003 she headed the advanced training academy of the Ministry of the Interior in Herne and from 2003 to 2006 the personnel department of the State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf .

From 2006 to 2009, Ewert worked for the Arnsberg district government as head of two departments, from 2006 to 2008 she headed the department for spatial planning, regional planning and economy and from 2008 to 2009 the department for environment and occupational safety. From 2009 to 2010 she took over the management of the department for regional development, municipal supervision and economy at the district government of Münster.

From October 2010 to August 2015, she was the police chief of the Bochum police headquarters, responsible for the authorities in Bochum , Herne and Witten .

On September 1, 2015, she succeeded the retired Gerd Bollermann district president of the Arnsberg district. Diana Ewert was released on September 1, 2017.
