Dianne Oxberry

Diane Clare Oxberry (born August 13, 1967 in Sunderland ; died January 10, 2019 in Manchester ) was a British presenter , best known for her weather reports on BBC North West Tonight . She also hosted the regional news magazine Inside Out North West .

Oxberry studied meteorology at the Met Office College in Berkshire .

She began her broadcasting career at BBC Radio 2 , where she worked as an assistant. She got her first presenter job on BBC Radio 1 in the weekday morning program. From 1991 she moderated the children's Sunday program The 8:15 from Manchester .

The marriage that she entered into in 1993 has two children. She died of cancer in early 2019 .
