The Moulinettes are a German music group and were founded in Munich in 1996 . The band consists of three women on drums, guitar and bass and a man who plays the violin, keyboard and harmonica . In the call-and-response choir, their German-language songs are reminiscent of Motown- Soul of the Supremes . The Moulinettes released three regular albums and one best-of album; They had a small hit in 1998 with the cover version of the television tune Herr Rossi sucht das Glück .

Singer and guitarist Claudia Kaiser wrote the book Rocken & Hosen (published by dtv-Verlag ) in 2003 , a kind of tour diary for the group that received enthusiastic reviews.

For the appearance of the best-of-sampler For a handful of moulinettes - 10 years entangled In 2007 there was a release party in the Atomic Café in Munich . The website went offline between 2010 and 2011.
