The Blue Mouse is a German comedy film directed by Johannes Guter from 1928.

action

Caesar Robin works for Mr. Lebodier's Verkehrwesen AG. He is very hard-working, but is regularly passed over when he is promoted, as Lebodier only promotes those employees who not only have a pretty wife, but they also have to be ready for a lunchtime with him. Since his wife is not the prettiest, his colleague Rigault, whose wife is a real "sweeper", is preferred for the upcoming promotion.

Robin gives up any hope of promotion when he meets the beautiful Fanchon, known as "The Blue Mouse". She agrees to help the charming and hardworking Robin to get his well-deserved promotion.

In fact, Lebodier is so enthusiastic about Robin's fake wife that he immediately wants to promote him to the company's director.

During a furniture auction in Fanchon's apartment, a number of entanglements arise when the real wives of Messrs Caesar and Lebodier suddenly appear.

criticism

“Jenny Jugo doesn't just have to look pretty, she lets all the nuances of her smile play. The dimples, the eyes, the teeth - everything flashes with you! "
