The last bullet hit the best (original title: Aventuras en el Oeste ) is an early spaghetti westerns directed by Joaquín Luis Romero Marchent . The script was based on the story "Buffalo Bill y su epoca" by Ángel de Zavala . The heavily abridged German-language version was first performed on July 9, 1965.
action
At a young age, Buffalo Bill rode the Pony Express as "Bill Cody". Now he leads a trek of settlers through the west, which also includes the pretty Ethel and her uncle, a pastor. At the end of the trip, Bill learns from a friend that there is a booming trade in smuggled weapons that ultimately reach the Indians. Such rip-offs take place regularly in the town of Custer, where two gang bosses take care of the affairs. Quickly, Bill, who teams up with Wild Bill Hickock and Calamity Jane, can achieve success in his fight against the smugglers; In addition, he meets Ethel again in Custer, who miraculously escapes with her life in an attack by the Sioux Indians. With the natives planning another attack, Custer is evacuated so that it looks like a ghost town when the Indians actually ride in. Buffalo Bill leads the hidden soldiers to victory against the Indians and finally clears up with the smugglers.
criticism
The lexicon of international film saw a ("b) other Euro-Western with a corpse-strewn, confused story". Even the Protestant film observer does not have a good opinion of the film: “The [...] Wild West film about whites and the Commanchen in their arguments after 1878, which is hung up with archive material, turns out to be a deliberate rubbish made with insufficient means. It's not worth a penny. "
Remarks
The Italian title is 7 ore di fuoco . The buildings were created by Jaime Pérez Cubero .
In the German version, van Nutter is spoken by Wolfgang Hess ; Hellmut Lange synchronizes Francisco Sanz.
