Cris Huerta
Crisanto Huerta Brieva (often Chris Huerta ; born January 26, 1935 in Lisbon , † November 2004 in Madrid ) was a Portuguese actor .
Life
Huerta grew up in Madrid and initially studied economics before giving up in favor of an acting career. He was one of the busiest character actors of the 1960s and 1970s and worked his way from small roles to leading supporting actor in jobs that were often carried out on a tight budget. The plump, mostly bearded and bald actor interpreted Mexican bandits, bartenders and sleazy business people in over 100 roles. Often he was also the hero's sympathetic sidekick . A large part of his films are spaghetti westerns. After 1977 his appearances decreased significantly in terms of quantity.
