action
The three Roman brothers Wesley look for happiness in the new world; under the names Pinza, Panza and Ponza, they do almost everything that can bring in money on the Mexican-American border. In a western town, the pretty cheater Nora Vargas meets Scott, a bounty hunter who is on his way to Mexico to pursue his profession. Nora joins him. There she learns about her uncles, who were arrested as arms smugglers by the Mexican army for supporting Zapata and sent to a labor camp. Nora, who is also the niece of the three, frees them with full use of her feminine charms.
When the Mexican Colonel notices the liberation, he pursues the escaped; Scott is now on the trail as well, as a bounty was offered for the escaped. When Nora is stolen from another arms transport she organizes for her uncles, Scott catches the gun thieves and rides with Nora into the sunset.
criticism
The film was described as weak overall by contemporary critics; Comedy not only lacks the violence customary in the genre, but leaves it to comical characterizations without telling a satisfactory story and dragging itself from one comic situation to the next joke. The lexicon of international film summarized: "Dilettante".
Tom Betts said in the fanzine western all'Italiana : An example of why one should avoid comedies in which actors well-known in the genre act under strange pseudonyms.
Remarks
The movie song Restless hands is interpreted by John Campbell .
The Italian title of the film, which is often given as the original title, is Alla larga amigos… oggi ho il grilletto facile .
