Thick air in Sacramento (Original title: Di Tresette ce n'è uno, tutti gli altri son nessuno ) is a grotesque -komödiantischer spaghetti westerns of Giuliano Carnimeo (under the name Anthony Ascot ) from 1974. The continuation of Do you know the country, where blue beans bloom? with the character of Tresette came on April 3, 1975, shortened by a few minutes, in German cinemas. Alternative title is The Fat, the Rascal and Three Hallelujahs .

content

Tresette is after $ 100,000 stolen from Frisco Joe on the train ride to Yuma. Frank Faina and the idiot Poison are behind the robbery, the loot of which is kept in a bank vault, the key of which is in turn hidden in an insane asylum. The two crooks have also infiltrated there. With all kinds of technical tricks and cleverness, Tresette and his buddy Bambi can prevail against the assembled robbers, madmen and directors.

criticism

"One of the stupidest spaghetti western grotesques, with no actual plot."

“The result is broken comedy of impressive consistency, which can only be found funny after the fifth joint. The other day, in the Punch and Judy Theater ... The beginning in the Klapsmühle (...) is so twisted that small losses of reality can occur in the audience. "

- Christian Keßler : Willkommen in der Hölle, 2002, p. 75

Mymovies thinks the story is "just a pretext for funny brawls and parody scenes with some nice ideas."

Remarks

The German title was interpreted by the American author Thomas Weisser to mean that in the film a "Dick Luft" (name) "in Sacramento" was pursuing his bounty hunter trade and resulted in a long history of perpetuated errors.

as well as Harry Wüstenhagen , Manfred Lehmann , Paula Lepa , Heinz Petruo , Joachim Kerzel , Joachim Pukaß , Manfred Grote , Fritz Tillmann , Siegmar Schneider , Heinz Theo Branding , Hugo Schrader , Karlheinz Brunnemann and Rolf Marnitz
