action
In a small western town, a tax shipment of gold is attacked, behind which the unscrupulous banker Oswald is; he hired Rogers and his gang, a former friend of the Sheriff Frank and lover of his ex-girlfriend Berta. Farley, who was involved in the raid, tried to increase his share of the booty by stealing the gold he had captured. The next morning he is found murdered.
Rogers and Berta now have to defend themselves against suspicions of having staged the events and are looking for support from the current incumbent. After brawls, shootings and intrigues, Oswald can be convicted, although the sheriff distrusts Rogers until the end. Oswald hires thugs again, arrests the sheriff, kills Berta and wants to see Rogers hanging. Only a group of rangers restore peace and justice.
criticism
"The director doesn't seem particularly comfortable with this genre when you look at the film," writes Ángel Comas.
Remarks
In Italy the film, Iquino's first western, (under the title La mia colt ti cerca… 4 ceri ti attendono ) did not open until 1974.
