Now Van Bullock puts the drug addict Cora on Mertens. After spending the night with Cora, the police searched Mertens apartment and found Cora's hiding heroin there , whereupon Mertens was arrested. However, Cora has fallen in love with Mertens and confides in his secretary Ingrid on the phone. She is surprised by Van Bullock, who stabs her in an affect .
When Mertens learns of what has happened, he breaks out of prison to settle accounts with Van Bullock. However, he does not manage to get to him because his bodyguard Komo is superior to him .
