Manfred Seipold

Manfred Seipold (born March 7, 1941 in Berlin , † March 26, 1989 in Los Angeles ) was a German actor and voice actor .

Life

Seipold attended the Staatliche Musikhochschule in Cologne and also took acting lessons. He received stage engagements a. a. in Aachen and Munich, but put his professional focus on working in film and television. He played in crime series such as Tatort , Derrick or Der Alte as well as in the Simmel film adaptations All people are brothers and please let the flowers live or in international co-productions, e.g. B. as the villain in the multi-part race to Bombay .

In addition, Seipold was extensively active in the dubbing and lent his voice to prominent colleagues such as Burt Reynolds (often, inter alia, in Der Tiger Hetzt die Hetzt , A Woman Is Her Man or My Name Is Gator ), Raúl Juliá ( The Organization ), Steve Martin ( The Muppets celebrate their birthday ), Chuck Norris , ( McQuade, the Wolf ), Bill Murray ( Tootsie ) or Bruce Willis ( Sunset ). He also took on the role of narrator for the animated series Wickie and the Strong Men .

Manfred Seipold died of AIDS in his adopted Californian home in 1989 . He was buried in the Floriansberg cemetery in Oberaudorf in the Rosenheim district .
