Hermann Diebäcker

Hermann Diebäcker (born August 14, 1910 in Münster ; † April 16, 1982 ibid) was a German CDU politician .

Life

After graduating from secondary school , Diebäcker, who was a Roman Catholic , initially worked in labor administration. He also studied economics and business administration at the University of Münster . He finished his studies in 1934 with a degree in economics and entered the service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Münster. He later worked as a manager of business associations in the wholesale and foreign trade and retail sectors. He was a soldier from 1942 to 1945.

In 1937 he joined the NSDAP as a graduate economist ( membership number 5.914.520). After the Second World War he became deputy general manager of the IHK Münster. He became a CDU member and was a member of the district executive in the Münster administrative district .

Diebäcker was a member of the German Bundestag from 1957 to 1969. He represented the constituency of Münster in parliament. Diebäcker came out in 1960/61 when he reported Karl Albrecht and the writer Reimar Lenz for blasphemy because they had published alternative articles critical of religion in the literary magazine .

He was married and had four children, two boys and two girls.
