Diego Ivan Chávarri Rodriguez (born March 7, 1989 in Queens , New York City , New York ) is a former Peruvian - American football player .
Career
Diego Chávarri began his career in the youth team of Sporting Cristal , where he also received his first professional contract . After two professional seasons in which Chávarri played 17 games and scored two goals, he moved to Cobresol FBC for the following season . He came to Union Comercio via Sport Huanyayo in January 2013 , where Chavarri played in the following half-series before he was loaned to Iranian newly promoted Gostaresh Foolad FC in July 2013 . With this he played six times until the end of the loan contract in December 2013. After that, Chávarri went to CD San Simón , where he played until the end of the 2015/16 season. Then he ended his playing career.
