Diego Robert Pishinin Mendes (born January 1, 1988 in Tapira ), also known as Diego , is a former Brazilian soccer player .

Career

Diego learned to play football in the youth teams of the Brazilian clubs AD São Caetano , São Bernardo FC , Figueirense FC and CA Tubarão . He signed his first contract in 2008 with São Vicente AC in São Vicente . In 2009 he went to Thailand , where he signed a contract with the first division club Chonburi FC in Chonburi . From Chonburi he was immediately loaned to the second division club Sriracha FC in Si Racha . Here he played 27 games in 2009. After the loan, he was firmly committed to Sriracha. In 2010 he was with the club champion of the Thai Premier League Division 1 and thus rose to the first division, the Thai Premier League . By the end of 2018, he had completed 108 games for Sriracha. The second division Pattaya United in nearby Pattaya signed him in 2014. By the end of 2014, he played 32 times in Division 1. At the end of 2014, Diego ended his career as a soccer player.

Diego has been a coaching assistant at the Thai first division club Suphanburi FC in Suphanburi since 2015 .
