Business event for information

A business event for information ( InfoDVag ) formerly information defense exercise ( InfoWÜ ), the German Bundeswehr serves to inform high-ranking civil executives from business , public service and science , other outstanding personalities of public life as well as political mandate holders of the Bundeswehr for the recruitment as mediators or Multiplier for supporting the security and defense policy tasks and objectives of the Bundeswehr. They are a special form of official events as part of the Bundeswehr's reservist work.

Procedure and content

The five- to twelve-day events begin with a solemn pledge . The content includes teaching the basics of military law, internal leadership, weapons training and marches. For the duration of the event, the participants will temporarily receive the rank of first lieutenant in the reserve , which will no longer apply after the InfoDVag has expired and may not be continued.

InfoDVag are carried out by all military organizational areas ( army , air force , navy , armed forces base , central medical service , cyber and information room ), usually twice a year. The number of participants varies from around 20 (navy) to around 80 (army) people per event.
